He did it and wow its hard to believe he's all grown up.  Yeesh, no likey. 

Sad Face/Sad Day

This is how I'm feeling lately.  My kids are leaving one by one to grow up and  experience new things.
I no likey, but it has to happen.  SETH left first for Hawaii for school.  BRETT left next for VEGAS, to start Dental School and now MELIA left this morning for ISRAEL for an amazing adventure.  At least I have Matt and Case and luke for a couple more weeks.  And Taite will still be home.  Thank goodness.  I dont want to be an empty nester yet.

Redo of sidetable for Taites room

I bought this table  at Home Sense in the clearance department.  It had a few knick
and dents but I thought it would be great.  20 bucks and then some primer and afew coats of

spray paint.    Here it is.  now I'll finish hanging a few things in her room and 
show you the spot where it will sit.

This Past weekend

This weekend I bought a couple of chairs and moved
things around in our family room.












Oh I had a piece of this old but new gum. We use
to chew it when I was a kid and I loved it. So I was able
to enjoy a stick of it. Thanks Matt. or Brian













After moving my flowers from my table to the Family
Room . I needed some flowers. So I went out to the
yard, cut off some branches off some trees and picked
up some wild flowers by the roadside.

spring is here

Its been a long winter and finally dry enough
for a huge crane, machine thing to come and
remove the huge tree bases and rip out the roots of
our old trees. Now there is a huge pile of roots
out front. The day they removed the large pieces
and dug the roots they were going to come back and get the
pile of roots but it poured for a week and our roads
especially ours is one big mud pit. (they had ripped
up our road that week as well trying to update the
sewers). That is one of the things I hate about Magrath
is the many gravel roads.

Bretts 25 Birthday

Well today we stopped counting after 54. the sweet
little deer in our field. (not) They camoflauge really
well with the field grass. I need to get a telephoto
lens.


















Brett is now 1/4 of a century.
It has been fun having him home
for a short bit. We went to an Ethiopian
restaurant for his bday dinner. It
was great . We all ate from one plate
with no utensils . It was great.

Taite turned 14, so we went to the Phantom
of the Opera. I loved it. We went in Calgary
years ago but this theatre was great and the
sets were amazing. Not to mention the music.
