Our lovely winter weather even though its spring

Well it's March 25 and we are having another winter storm and its freezing . They cancelled our golf class tonight which i am grateful for. The last 4 weeks have been freezing even colder than today. Here are a couple of photos, so we can remember these wonderful times. Ha. That is a picture of Brett at christmas time enjoying a blizzard then.

Basketball for Seth

Basketball is over for another year, and only one more left for seth. The Zeniths rallied at the end of the season and we finished off at the U of L zones for third. It was really exciting as there was a few upsets and we ended up playing for 3rd against LCI. Seth had some great games and it was exciting to see him play at the university.
Then the next week it was up to Red Deer for Provincials and they ended up getting 6th out of 16 which wasnt to bad. All in all they ended up doing quite well .

This year we spent her birthday dinner at Olive Garden- "Oceanside" CA Taites birthday is always during the holiday week and we are usually away. She doesnt really like that very much as she wants to be home with her friends. This year we spent her birthday in disneyland. The night before I asked her "what do you want to do?" So Seth, Taite and I drove down to Anaheim and spent the day there. It ended up being alot of fun. It wasn't as crowded as I thought it would be and we were able to get on all the rides we wanted quite easily. We were able to spend her dinner with Auntie Patty and Uncle Ken and stephanie. They met us up in oceanside for the afternoon and evening the following day .

Color Guard Competition in Edmonton Alberta

Hi Back from the Cold north of Edmonton. I was a chapperone for the Color guard team and drove up some girls for the competition. It was a successful weekend in the fact that they placed 2nd overall and they all got tons of shopping done. I think they liked the later. With fashions shows, pizza parties and all night chatting I think it was a fun weekend. The girls preformed amazingly well. It was fun to watch and cheer.

A couple of weeks ago Bill , Seth, Taite and I flew down to LA and had a great few days. We stayed at the downtown Westin which was really huge, the architecture was cool. We decided the night before Taites birthday we would go to Disneyland. So Seth , Taite and I had a fun day there as Bill was in a conference this weekend. Friday night Brett flew in from Provo and we drove down to Carlsbad and stayed there for 2 nights. We had a fun time seeing parts of Bretts misson. It definately is a beautiful area. We enjoyed the coast and walking on the Oceanside Peir. That is one place I would visit again. These 2 photos are of us a the hotel the first night. It was the oscars that weekend and they had these freeking looking oscars and the red carpet. Thats as close as we got to the real thing as it was all baracaded off in Hollywood.
