locationsKatherine Lawrence and Michael Bearden. Photo by Jesse Coss.

Drove to Utah on the wednesday Feb 16th..  Shopped on thursday, Thaipan, the gateway mall , then to the Capital theatre downtown SLC to see Sleeping Beauty All West Ballet-  It was for Taites Birthday.  WE loved it.

We then got up early Friday and drove to Las Vegas.  Its was Bretts white coat ceremony

Hello Dr. Brett Harris 2014

TRUMP TOWERS

We Stayed at the Trump Hotel in a one bedroom suite.  It was really nice.

Sunday we drove to Thousand Oaks and stayed at Westlake village. Hung out there on Monday . Taite hung out with some friends and Bill and I went to the

Ronald Reagan Museum.  It was presidents day so it was crowded.  We listened to George Washington speak.  It was fun.  Then we went to a sweet Premier seating movie theatre.  We saw the movie

We picked up Taite and drove to Anaheim.  Stayed at the
HILTON right by Disney

Then on Tuesday

Yeah Disney!
Back to vegas the next day and as Bill and Brett watched the BYU game we went to the Movie downstairs in the Movie Centre in the Casino

It was so awesome.  I was not a Bieber fan but I am now.  We were the only ones in the theatre.  3D and Taite danced all around and I sung and cheered .  It was like we were at the concert.  It was so fun.
Then next day up to Utah to see Melia for a bit  while we ate and continued to Idaho Falls.  then up early this morning and home again.  Well its freezing up here and winter is not over yet.  Darn.  All in all it was a great trip, lots of driving but it wasn't so bad.

Joseph Smith Art and Green sofa table

Taite made this picture yesterday and I loved it.  It's for her seminary teacher. Not sure hot to rotate it yet. Duh!

Here' my new/old sofa table in the dining room.  Moved stuff around and painted the table.  The mirror is gone and  I painted an old window grate and stuck that wreath on.  It works for now.  The mirror is in the living room now. I'm rehanging new drapes and will add that photo when I'm done.
I gave it a black glaze wash to make it look old and I like how it turned out.   Its definitely not a clean fresh look.  When i get tired of it .  I can paint it again.  For now its great.

This is the 2011 Theme for Mutual this year.
Seth our new missionary.  We are missing him this
week.  The trip back from utah was long and we read this
book on the way home.  Its pretty good.   I would recommend it.

We have a missionary Again! January 12, 2011

Early Monday morning we are off to the Mission Home.  Seth and his cute pose.
Across the street from the MTC a quick photo shoot before we are whisked away.
Seth was happy and so was I.  Well I was kinda happy but  I had it under control at that time.
I didn't realize that Seth is a pretty big boy.
As we arrived at the spot to drop him off. There were two missionaries there to help him and take him in.   Its a drop off, BYE, BYE, see ya in two, in like a minute.  Well,  He was so cool talking to the Missionaries who were his hosts.  He was happy and took off and never looked back .   There were 350 approx. missionaries checking  in that day.  He is on the right.  We are so excited for him to experience new things , grow and Lead.
