                                       Bill was in Monteray for a course and I came down and spent the day.
                                       I rented a bike and went on the 17 mile bike ride  along the coast .  It was
                                      the most beautiful day and so much fun.
                                       

                                          This one boat was not like the others.  Had some
                                       Chinese Lanterns hanging on it.  Plus the only red boat
                                        in the pier.

                                          This was the woodsy area, it was so pretty with amazing homes.

 Vera came down and spent a week here. It was so fun to have her , we went to San Fran.  this picture of us on a bike ride.

We have only been here like six weeks and have had so much fun.  Taite and I went to San Jose and did the UPW with Tony Robbins and did the firewalk!

 

                                 Went to Provo and visited with Melia and dropped Taite off at EFY

 

Went into San Fran and watched this fantastic Show with Melia

                         Have eaten mexican a thousand times.  Just out of the pool , nice hair!

                                           Brett came to visit for a week!  We went golfing together once to the Par three up the street.  1st time to golf this year and I was pretty rough. 

Yesterday went to the San Fransisco Zoo.  It was freezing the temp there is like 30 colder than Granite Bay.  

California Here We Are!

Crazy for sure!  We have settled in to our new temporary home in Granite Bay California.
Why?  Matt graduated from dental school and we wanted to come down and help them out.

 It was an exciting day in at the Oregon Health and Science University.  Congrats Matt and Casey!

                                       WE have been having fun here hanging with the kids and enjoying hot weather I love it!

HAPPY EASTER!

                        HAPPY EASTER TO ALL!     We received this cute Easter card from
                              Matt, Case and Luke.  Last year we spent Easter in Portland but this
                        year we are home in Magrath.  Crazy ,  because  we have hardly spent
                       Easter at home.  I did a small egg hunt for Taite yesterday and spent
                       the day working in the yard and Bill helping me hang up the recycled shelves
                       I made for the laundry room. (well I actually helped him abit, thanks Honey)

                       I woke up today (sunday) with the sun brightly shining.  It was nice to see a blue
                        sky.    We have had alot of cloudy skies this winter, along with tons of wind.  It was
                        so great to see the beautiful sky and it made me reflect on the atonement and      
                       resurrection of our Savior.  We are truly grateful for that gift.

April 1st April fools Day.

The hunger games came out so Taite went the first night with her friends and made me go the next day.  I had no idea what it was about.  We arrived to the matinee  it was almost sold out.  The theatre was full. 

 The filming was  jumpy and i got  a little motion sick  at first, but quickly got into the story line.  At first I thought it was stupid in the fact that kids were killing kids and people where watching on the big screen in their home towns.  Crazy and strange, but by the end I wanted to know what was to happen.  So I'm going to read the sequels. 

                      My friends daughter had a baby 8 weeks early and he just got out of the hospital so I had a shower for her and her baby.

I also took an oral myology course in calgary.  

  Life is going good.  

Yesterday and Today  is Conference.  Its always so great to hear the inspired 

words of our prophet and leaders.

Its March and No Posting .

                                          Portland - we went for the long weekend in 
                   February and saw all the kids(except Seth)
                  Matt and Case are leaving the area in 
                 June as he is graduating.  We have never been to
                 Cannon Beach  so took the pretty drive. 
               We went to the famous Mo's Restaurant for Lunch .  
                Clam chowder  and sourdough bread with 
                Shrimp Salad.
                 

                                  I missed our ward RS March Party and I was in charge of the
                                  centerpieces.  I  gathered oldy stuff.  The history of RS.   The
                                  one above was on Health and first aid.

                                  Now it's going to be April soon.  Hard to believe and glad ,
                                  I think i will go out and check to see if my golf cart is in
                                running order.  Spring is on its way. 

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!

                                   1. started with making breakfast for my small family left at home.
                                     Toast  with heart shaped cut out then I cooked an egg in it.
                                      Took the heart and toasted it with jam.
                                   2.  Busy day preparing dinner 
                                   3.   Made valentine cookies and delivered to four families  and visited
                                   4. Prepared and had Activity day with my girls.  Down to six right now.  
                                   5. Had  a nice dinner.
                                   6. Went to art class
                                   7. Took a friend to the hospital for IV antibiotic

We made choc molds (heart suckers) and made valentines for parents.

Our valentines Table for 2012.  I made chicken cordon blue, double stuffed potatoes, asparagus, salad and cherry cheesecake for dessert.

Remember the photo of the tree I was to attempt in class.  Well I am almost finished.

I have some finishing touches.  This photo was taken with my phone.    The color is somewhere in between.  I really like the looks of the darker one but I wanted it to be in the grayer scale for my bedroom.  Well my first attempt to painting, this is acrylic.  I'm starting to like painting.    I want to do another one for my laundry room that I'm fixing up right now.  Or maybe I'll hang this in there.  Uhmmm  , I think I will.
