Cards I have made for LUKE

Luke loves Cars .  Especially the ones off the Movie CARS 2.  So I have been drawing and sending him these cars.  There are like 50 different cars with names.  Luke knows alot of them.  These are some of his favorites.  I still have some more to do. 

Ward Christmas Party

I forgot to post about our ward Party.  I was asked to do the decorations and the invites and also make the small nativities for the little kids .  Those four large murals went on the walls in the gym at the church.  They were quite large.  Approx 9X23.  I gathered nativities for the centerpieces and also make these little baby Jesus in the Manger.  70 of them. 

 

 

 

It's another DAY in the lives of the Harris home

January 2012 coming to a close, YES for two reasons. 

1.  That means we are closer to spring.   Although it has been a mild, WILD, windy winter.  Not sure what I like better.   Cold or wind. 
2.  My 50 minute lecture for the Magrath Womens Conference  is Over.   I had to speak on Gathering in the  Kitchen and making happy memories.   The time went faster than I thought, had to cut some stuff out that i wanted to say but another assignment done.  Moving onto the next!
The actual conference was really nice and  they sure went to alot of work.





THEN   TAITE AND I TOOK OFF TO TOWN TO SEE THIS SHOW!

SAD, THOUGHT PROVOKING, MOVING, EMOTIONAL, CUTE,  GREAT ACTING,  It is one show I would see again.   It made me realize that, I have no problems.   and also I love NYC.

BRRRRRRR Baby it's cold outside!

 This is Canada for you ...... Look at the graph.   It was like plus 10 C last week and today its -29C
with the wind chill feeling like -39.   Skin exposure of 10 minutes will create frostbite.   One good thing, looks like our deep freeze is going to be short lived.   Thank goodness.

              We are instructed to bring a photo of  some type of landscape.  Well I hope I
              can maybe paint a tree.  

I love my new Purse

Well I have to post this week and already this new year I can't think of what to blog about.  Exciting life I lead.  Ha.  Well,  I really like my new purse Melia bought me for Christmas.  Its a Marc Jacobs fancy smancy purse.  I think she was trying to tell me .  " Mom get some class"   Thanks to my daughter Melia for an awesome Purse.  I love all the pockets inside and the hidden pocket.  sshhhh!     



OH and then other FANTASTIC THING!

                                            SETH HIT THE   1   Year Mark!     Jan 12 , 2011 was the day
                                               he entered in the MTC.    We had the missionaries over on
                                              Jan 11, this past week.   We are so grateful to have a missionary son!

The first week of 2012 comes to a close and its been another interesting week.  This is a wonderful scripture.  I am compiling my list of things to accomplish and enjoy this year.  May you do the same.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

2012 is here! What happened to 2011?   Again time to reflect on the past year and all the blessings we have received.  It was a great year and we are expecting an even better one for 2012!

MERRY CHRISTMAS 2011

 Well it was Christmas here in the Harris home and I'm sure yours as well.  I thought maybe I will try again to update my blog as a journal for myself.  I decided to change up the colors in my Christmas decor this year .  I went with whites and silvers and it was quite pretty.

                            I have quite a few Nativity sets and I moved them around this year.  This one

                            Melia made for me many years ago when she was a little girl.  Its out of  modeling   clay.  It is still one of my Faves.  Thanks Melia!
